Silly Fails و Trolling

If you’ve been paying attention this اسبوع you’ve also probably tuned في الى, و been quite entertained by, ال epic showdown between crypto art collector و creator, Vincent Van Dough, و ال dev و instigator behind “ ال NFT Bay ” (Geoffrey Huntley), a derivate site من ال Pirate Bay, that allows anyone الى “right click— save as” NFTs على ال Ethereum Blockchain.

Long story short, there was a lot من back و forth مع speculation by naysayers that this project would drive ال entire value من NFTs و Ethereum الى zero, Vincent Van Dough held an NFT auction من a screenshot من ال site و it sold لـ nearly $20K, Huntley then ran an NFT auction على VVD’s sold screenshot piece titled “ال collector becomes ال collected” و also asked لـ donations الى keep ال bay site running, VVD then offered الى pay لـ ال yearly hosting, Huntley gave his ETH address … و في a complete twist من events… it turns out he’s been collecting Dapper Dino NFTs لـ weeks!

Yeah, it was a pretty well executed troll على ال NFT/web3 trollers. 😆👻
