This Summer we’ve collaborated مع Lit بروتوكول الى build out ال LitListenerSDK — an open source typescript SDK, compatible مع node و browser, الى automate responses من webhooks, subscribed على-chain events و intervals through triggered callback functions و ال use من Lit بروتوكول PKPs.

ال SDK combines event listening, conditional signing, autonomous functions و PKPs الى translate threshold cryptography into an easy الى use interface لـ applying advanced على chain encryption across an abundance من web3 سوشيال apps و infrastructure.

ال LitListenerSDK is designed around ال principle من conditionally pre-approved chain reactions مع account abstraction . You have a series من things you want الى do في an encrypted و decentralized context. But you shouldn’t need الى be hovering over those actions الى make sure they happen, when و ازاي they are supposed الى.

Instead من asking you الى juggle terms like “wallets” و “accounts”, it presents a simple platform where you can manage your assets, communicate مع others, و maintain privacy.

• Supply Chain Management: Listen لـ a smart contract event, signaling when a shipped item has reached its destination (verified by a trusted third-party oracle). If ال item ID matches ال expected value, ال SDK triggers an على-chain function. It releases payment الى ال supplier, و تحديثات ال product’s status في ال supply chain smart contract.

• Gaming / Collectibles: Listen لـ events which herald fully autonomous game worlds. Signaling when a player has achieved a milestone, or found a rare item, is just ال start. When events are detected, it can trigger an على-chain function that mints unique NFTs, و assigns them الى pre-approved addresses لـ players or spectators. Off-chain, you can use ال SDK الى send a notification الى players, و تحديث their leaderboard status.

When ال price من a chosen token satisfies a pre-approved threshold, ال SDK fires an على-chain function. It triggers a trade, or a series من them, على a decentralized exchange.

• Web3 سوشيال Media: Listen لـ events related الى جديد بوستات, جديد likes, و other activity, من accounts you set as worth following more closely than a default friend or follow button can offer على its own. When a جديد event is detected, it can trigger an على-chain function الى tip a creator مع tokens, if ال content matches ال user’s pre-approved interests, or set off more elaborate chain reactions.

ال LitListenerSDK lets you mint PKPs على Lit بروتوكول’s Chronicle network و verifiably assign these PKPs الى Lit Actions الى set و run على-chain functions (مع Javascript).

You can create your own PKPs على Lit بروتوكول’s Chronicle network. PKPs are self-contained tools combining programmable logic (hence ال name) مع conditional signatures that you can use الى approve transactions, و other messages, online. و since almost everything is connected online today, that means IRL too.

What makes PKPs special is that they aren’t made or maintained by just one entity. They’re ال result من teamwork في ال Lit network, مع multiple nodes contributing a piece من ال keys, but no one having ال whole thing. It’s like everyone has a part من ال secret recipe, but no one can make ال dish على their own unless they meet ال conditions spelled out by your pre-approval.

PKPs are managed by a unique token على ال Chronicle network. If your wallet holds this token, you can ask ال Lit network الى combine ال key pieces و sign any transaction or message على your behalf.

Lit Actions are like a task list لـ your PKPs. Written في JavaScript, they tell your PKPs what transactions need الى be confirmed. They’re designed الى work على any network where Lit بروتوكول operates, allowing you الى perform tasks across different systems مع ال same set من instructions.

في our case, we pair Lit Actions مع PKPs الى manage our decentralized interactions. This allows us الى operate smoothly و securely, without ال need الى know ال nitty-gritty من each task.
