• How was Miami Dcentralcon and NFT Basel?!
Wow. Where to start?! After just one year being live we found ourselves at one of the highest esteemed and most pivotal art, fashion and now web3 intersecting events anywhere of the era. This is the first time that so many GDN members and DIGITALAX community members and collectors were able to meet IRL in person, talk more about the project’s mission and red pill everyone on web3 fashion and the open metaverse 😆👻
There were so many amazing memories created that we are preparing a comprehensive write up and photo album to share with the community!
• When does the new rewards distribution schedule begin for $MONA staking?
The new $MONA staking platform is now live here https://staking.digitalax.xyz/ and rewards will start distributing at 21:00 GMT Dec 5th… so in just a few hours! You can read the full update here in case you missed it. You can use the DIGITALAX custom bridge here to move assets from Ethereum to Polygon, or the regular Polygon bridge here.
More details on the $W3F distribution and also the retroactive and forward looking additional token rewards distribution from market activity i.e. marketplace auction events etc. will be released within the next few days as we move full steam ahead!
The DIGITALAX core team will be online to assist and support with any queries as the new staking distribution begins.
It’s becoming ever more important and critical that our communication channels become secured through decentralisation and the permissionless uncensorable nature of web3. We desperately need Dapps and platforms that can support this before we all need to turn back to samizdat as the main form and way that we channel and direct information.
Jack Dorsey resigned as the CEO of Twitter this week effective immediately to seemly dive more into web3 full time with Square, amongst other things. It’s an interesting move, and has made Twitter more vulnerable to higher censorability and the overreaching “Big Brother” practices of web2. The new CEO is already making moves for instantiating new processes and hard guidelines for restricting every users interactions on the platform.

Anyone who has built and/or is building in the open web3 bazaar knows how this high pressure cooker environment can get too even the best of us, and sometimes it can feel like the market is moving to fast to keep pace with and it’s all a bit too much.
Yet, with that said, if you are going to chart forth as a leader or team of leaders running a protocol or project in the space, then trolling back your community for non-substantive reasons isn’t at all the right way to go about it…. 🤨🧐🤔… especially when that community is what got you to where you are in the first place.
